The first campaign took place during the month of April, 2014.
The campaign is divided into a Traffic Management Centre Event (TMC Event) and a Junction Event.
The TMC Event lasted for 2 weeks from April 5, 2014 to April 18, 2014. During this time, volunteers spent 2 hours of their time at the TMC watching traffic footage from live junction cameras, on computer monitors and captured pictures of vehicles that demonstrated one of a list of several good behaviors.
The Junction Event was a half-day event conducted at the MG Road Metro Station sidewalk and the nearby junction and was held on April 26, 2014.

The Deccan Herald’s MetroLife supplement carried a full-length article focusing on the TMC Event of Positive Strokes. The Junction Event, which was the awareness raising/publicity part of Positive Strokes, received a good coverage in several dailies including The Hindu, Deccan Herald, Indian Express and Kannada dailies – Prajavani, Eenadu, Udayavani, and Vijayavani. It also received about 2.5 minutes of coverage in the Raj TV News on April 26th, 2014.
